It's been a slow and gruelling journey watching the joint compound dry. It's like watching grass grow. Remember the gross and disgusting
buildup of 25+ years of hairspray and such? I am making progress.
Observe:
The new fan

A new duct and new insulation

new sheetrock

new joint tape

no gunk!

watching the joint compound dry

3 layers and 3 days later

To be continued.....
